At least they will still have the cause nights but just won’t make players wear the jerseys.

I never, ever want to hear how hockey players are different again.
This is what I’d expect from hockey players based on most of the kids I played with growing up
Maybe if <insert player’s name here> has “deeply held beliefs” that cause them distress with the attire their employer asked them to wear, they should take a sick day.
In a way, this actually neutralizes their ability to protest, since the team still does pride things, but the players don’t have a stage where they can loudly demonstrate that they hate pride.
