Is it possible to improve the Finnish localization? E.g. Joined is translated to “liittyi” (“it joined”) which doesn’t make any sense in the actual context for “being subscribed”. I think “Jäsen” (member) would be better expression for clarity or at least “Liitytty” ([have been] joined).
Another weird one is “Viesti” (“message”/“communicate”) for send message button. I think it feels like “a message” as a noun and not as “to message” verb. “Lähetä” (“Send”) would be much more understandable for Finnish speakers.
There are some others, in the main screen there is “viestejä” ja “kommentit” which is weird that they aren’t in the same form.
And instead of “viesti” it would make more sense to use “ketju” or “lanka” for threads, since those are more common anyways. (e.g. “viestit” -> “ketjut” and “Luo viesti” -> “Uusi ketju”)
I was trying to create an account to the translation software thing, but it never managed to send me the email verification link so that kinda died. (Or it didn’t manage to get past gmail’s filters, I don’t know where the pigeon was shot, I just know it didn’t make it all the way to me)
I also tried to make an account, but it didnt work, so I just sent “suggestion”. I think keskustelu could be best word for ketju/lanka. But I prefer viesti myself.
Yeah, keskutelu could work as well, I guess. I just don’t like “viesti” because strictly speaking, it’s a thread, not a message.
