It’s a genocide. The country created for victims of a genocide, are perpetrating a genocide.

Remember, Israels beginning started way before WW2. They wanted to colonize Palestine as early as the 1890s.

I feel like this vague statement applies to every religion, as you wouldn’t be following said religion if you didn’t believe it to be “the answer” to life.

As the other guy said though the state of Israel came about from Zionism, which is a fundamentalist sect of Judaism but doesn’t represent all Jews.

Society needs to become secular. I think religion in private life is fine if people need it, but religion doesn’t have a place in politics, law, policy etc. in any country.

So…which Abrahimic religion doesn’t believe in their own supremacy?

Remind me, how did Islam spread through the region and displaced the previous indigenous religions, like Zoroastrianism? I’ll give you a hint: the same way Christianity did.

Yep, that’s right: conquest, displacement, and conversion.

Zionism is not Judaism. Just like Wahhabism isn’t Islam.

Although, I think we can all agree that if the snake handling practices of Appalachian Pentecostals was a universal Christian rite, that’d be pretty fucking hilarious.

Y’know something, I’m starting to get the impression some of these “IDF” fellows might not be entirely on the up-and-up.

Why would an IDF presence be required during aid handout in the first place?

what are we supposed to do?

fall back, only take shots that wouldn’t harm civilians.

But as the IDF is known for, every Palestinian is Hamas so it’s all fair game to them.

Yes, Hamas does intentionally mix soldiers with civilians, but it’s not to protect the soldiers. They want to attract these attacks to get sympathy, and it’s fucking sad that right wing Israeli fucks love to oblige. It’s all just so transparently about hate and stupidity. Humans can really suck.

Yes, and Hamas wants to give them that excuse. It’s literally the most rudimentary textbook insurgency strategy there is. Israel is the oppressor, Hamas is the insurgency looking for publicity to recruit to their cause. Palestinian civilians are just props as far as either is concerned.

Israel has been ordered by the ICJ to stop killing members of the Palestinian group. All 15 permanent judges agreed that there is a risk of genocide. They’ve been ordered to provide humanitarian aid.

On the same day they come out with unsubstantiated claims about UNRWA to cut off humanitarian aid. They destroyed most hospitals, the power plants, the water supply and 70% of all housing. 1.8 million refugees in Gaza are starving and dying of thirst. Infection from wounds and epidemics will kill more.

And Israel openly attacks the aid workers?

Clearly they want to commit genocide. They are saying so themselves. And look at their actions.

The Israeli media has utterly dehumanized these people. And my government, a social democratic government no less is aiding them. The mainstream press in my country is aiding them.

If you add up all the Palestinians murdered by illegal colonists and the IDF, and also add the excess deaths caused by the harsh apartheid conditions since 1948 (?), does the Israeli genocide on it’s immediate neighbors over that time add up to more dead than the WWII Holocaust? Does Human Rights Watch have those numbers?
