The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday threw out the stalking conviction of a Colorado man who sent hundreds of unwanted Facebook messages to a female musician, ruling that state prosecutors had not shown that he was aware of the "threatening nature" of his statements.
AFAICT they’ve said that Colorada’s law is bad because it does not require intent. Which means they consider any stalker to be innocent as long as they can claim they’ve grown up in a society which never taught them that harassing women is bad. Which all of them can.
