How should I format a link so people on any instance can visit a community in their instance?

If I’m not mistaken simply writing !opensource@lemmy.ml should send you to the community via your instance. If the community is not yet federated with your local instance, you might need to paste it in the search and wait a few seconds but afterwards it should be reachable with a click.
