2022 Rogers Communications outage

The event spurred new government policies requiring all telecommunications providers to provide mutual assistance to each other in the event of an outage, offer emergency roaming service for rivals’ affected customers, and establish plans for how to communicate to the public about outages.

The outage was later said to be caused by a maintenance upgrade that caused routers to malfunction. A similar outage occurred in April 2021, which was attributed to a software update.

I created a trigger to disable auto-rotate when I’m using the apps I’m usually browsing while in bed (i.e. doom scrolling social media) but I like your idea.

I have a few triggers that turn on Do Not Disturb mode:

1. When I open an app that I doom scroll before I fall asleep and when I wake up.

2. When I connect to my doctor’s or dentist’s office wifi.

Ooh, kettle corn and kettle chips are my kryptonite right now.

It wasn’t a free “sample”, but I got someone’s hand-me-down leggings and they were so comfortable that I bought a new pair when I needed a different size.

Just reiterating what the commenter above said. The nerve is dead (hence the root canal) so the actual tooth itself won’t feel any pain.

In fact, my first root canal was an emergency and they drilled right into my tooth without anesthesia to relieve the pressure. I felt no pain, just relief.

As others have said, it’s the noises and sensations… Like you can feel sensations of “something is pressing down on my jaw”, but it doesn’t hurt.

I think it’s also that it feels invasive to have someone in your mouth. It’s an oddly intimate part of the body. I had to remind myself that, “I’m consenting to this”, and, “this person is skilled and helping me”, so I don’t get scared or feel like something is happening to me.
