I really love Apple, despite all their less than stellar or honest moments, when it comes to internal engineering, quality, pricing, right to repair and so on. I love em despite that. Because they bring to this world know-how about how to build platforms and ecosystems, how to have discipline in creating products that’s completely missing in the rest of the world.

But god damn it the materials they use to make smartphones are like the dimmest most random bullshit I’ve ever seen. Why GLASS BACK m**** f*****s? WHY?

And don’t tell me “because antenna”. Guess what doesn’t break when you drop it, and lets signal through?! We have tons of it.
