Am I missing something here but doesn’t every game have (exclusive) full screen option? It’s usually borderless windowed is sometimes not an option which is best for when you DO want to move over to another screen. Otherwise you are locked to one screen.
Liftoff is quite good but there’s one thing that I find frustrating. When I get comment replies, I can’t click on the comment to go the thread where the comment resides. I don’t know if I’m totally missing something or what! (probably am)
Thanks for your reply. I am a Vivaldi user myself currently after trying numerous browsers over the years. I was trying to reconcile in my mind what am I giving up in terms of privacy for my choice. I do tend to lean on and learn from other more knowledgeable myself. I do have a few privacy related extensions installed. But you touch on something there that extends further than personal privacy but Googles influence on web standards, good one.
Probably not entirely related but I like Judge Judy’s comment: If something doesn’t make sense, it probably isn’t true.
Pleading ignorance here and genuine questions. Is anyone, within the context of browsers able to define privacy and what it is that FF does that is superior to other say, Chromium based browsers? And what the real world effects are of not using FF for the purpose of privacy? Either reply or point to sources on the Web would be much appreciated.
I can’t remember the ad I saw, it was on a billboard while I was driving a couple of weeks ago but here’s a link to a semi popular deals website in Australia to confirm my suspicions hehe (yes I am Australian)
I’m starting to see Christmas in July to be advertised. It won’t be long before retail pushes that as a time where we socially have to buy gifts for people and we won’t even know why lol
Thinly veiled I’ve had sex post
Lemmy newbie here, it’s all new to me lol
Or when we desperately hold in our shit until we find our phone lol “I need to shit! Where the fuck is it!?”
is there an open source alternative to Tiktok?
Still rocking my galaxy s9+. It’s starting to show its age and I’ve been tempted as of late to get an new phone, it’s been 3 1/2 years now. I occasionally look for reasons like, oh it’s running a bit slow or the fingerprint sensor is slowly dying. My wife and I do put away $25/month aside to buy a phone every 3 years but eh. I just keep using this until it dies.
I’d love it if one day we could talk and have conversations with NPCs rather than clicking on a choice of scripts.
Do you mind explaining or pointing to resource about binding to qbit? I use qbit and pia.
Yeah I’ve been hearing this for so many years. If it were to affect gaming on Windows, it will definitely not happen. MS would be crazy to kill the stronghold they have on gaming.
I actually built a PC for a mate with almost exact same hardware a couple of weeks ago. Temps were perfect from get go and this time round I used stock thermal paste from the cooler.
Unmount and clean off thermal paste. Reapply thermal paste. Carefully place pump back on thumb tightening each screw in a star shape. Do a few turns per corner to ensure even pressure. TBH, I didn’t really know when to stop screwing as it didn’t feel like it was getting tighter to an end point and I was also being aware of overtightening too. From memory, I think I did maybe 12-16 turns of each screw? Good luck!
This is great! Can’t wait! Thank you for all your hard work!
