The author of this opinion article, Richard Kemp, is known for…, Well, I recommend the “Politics” section of his wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Kemp.
The fact that he does not want (his) soldiers to be investigated for war crimes gives me a great pause about his opinions.
Beautiful! Thank you
Will not login to Twitter to see a video. What would be a good alternative for posters?
On dictator-speak, what is said is as important as what is not said. He’s okay with Gripens and F-18s.
Putin can say whatever he wants, unchallenged, to justify himself and take the Russian troops out of Ukraine.
“This day [Feb 24, 1835], the 24th instant, and the day following, at the North Side of the Custom-House [in Charlestone], at 11 o’clock, will be sold, a very valuable GANG OF NEGROES, accustomed to the culture of rice; consisting of SIX HUNDRED.”
To many people today would have us go back.
He was executed in the Deep South in 1944, in the midst of the Jim Crow era.
America and the World are far from perfect but we are better now than in 1944. I hope we can keep improving fast enough.
Thanks for the post! Specially the summary!
People can voice their possibly stupid, and/or ignorant, and/or manipulative opinion, possibly based on false premises. Nobody has to give those people any credit. And nobody owes them a pedestal to voice those opinions.
Also, why does Russia not have loads of troops near the border with Finland?
Surely, if NATO is such a threat. Why?
“Oral treaty”, oral international treaty… now that sounds like a heavily manipulative level of naivety.
Where does it says so? Can you point to that specific section of the text? I’ve just checked and must have missed it, it wasn’t there.
Russia invaded Ukraine. Invaded. And occupied. With weapons. With murder and torture. And child abduction. And declarations that Ukraine as country, culture and people, should not exist.
That is unjustifiable.
Mas, a assumir a completude e correção do artigo linkado.
Seen from Europe, the question is for how much more time and at how many excess Ukranian lives is Poland-PIA going to support Orban.
And maybe there should be a list of European companies that still stay in Hungary. Anybody up for this?
