I recently finished The Three Body Problem and loved it, so I’m reading anything I can find from Cixin Lui on libby now - which this week means Supernova Era. Super interesting so far, feels like the novelization of a thought experiment and I’m here for it.

Went there on my honeymoon in 2018. Absolutely gorgeous. I think the most surprising part is how new it is, relatively speaking. It’s only like 130 years old. Ludvig’s entire story is well worth a Wikipedia rabbit hole too.

Yeah it’s true. The game originated in Sweden, and we have a lot of Swedish immigrants in Minnesota. It was originally called anka anka gråttanka, which translates to duck duck grey duck. Or that’s the story we tell here at least.

On the tail end of Leagues right now. I didn’t have much time early on in leagues so I’m just scraping out rune rank and won’t be able to make it to dragon, which is disappointing. Then it’s back to maxing the normal account and working through early game iron stuff, after a short post-leagues break I’m thinking.
