Here’s a quick lil story fir ya.

Our teachers refused to listen to us while the school burned. Refused to look out of the window and see the actual fire. These people are in charge of your children.

Kids should have phones. Teachers are there to reach and that’s it. They aren’t pious perfect creations. Phones are a great safety net that we didn’t have when I was in school.

I walked past my teacher and out of the school as it was burning. Teachers should not have final day in anything. They are there to teach and nothing else. I’d rather my kid grew up to understand they have final day in their life and can walk out of situations they cause them harm.

Please no. Don’t go there. Nooooo

Kinda what society wants and needs yet it’s the opposite of what these corporate gluts want.

Coping mechanics. It’s a hard and fast distraction technique. It’s grounding at its most base level. Feeling the skin rip stops some of the brains abilities to think.

Great weapon for keeping people alive.

Why not just Google the question

Why not think clever. Start mandating water preservation. Stop using drinking water to flush toilets. Involve grey water and maybe use a solar panel dehumidifier system to pull water out of thin air.

Unfortunately never played it. I do.not understand the instances and different Lemmy’s. Makes sense they all use the server. Probably would be good idea to have them separated as we know centralized can be corrupted.

I use kbin as well. Does that pull from Lemmy ? Kbin and Lemmy world seem to work far better than the jerboa app. I’m just pinging around them. Have tried tildes too but it’s invite only.

Looking forward to it. I’m on different Lemmy’s though. Is that right ?

My rant is that I love in an existential crisis.
I know the world sucks. I know why the world sucks and I think I have solutions to some of those issues. However how can I act upon them.

I’m forever flip flopping on leaving everything behind and living as a nomad in a cave or trying to get into office to right the wrongs of this world.

I’d love to leave a legacy of actually doing something worthwhile with my life as most lives are pointless.
We are nothing. We live we die and Majority of us will destroy more than we will ever create.

Nothing I do or most do matters. I could due tomorrow and my existence would be a footnote in an obituary. With that most things people do don’t impact on the greater humanity.

Yet we have capacity to truly be remarkable. But to do that we need to take risks. Risks that would ultimately force us into something we do t actually want to do. Risks that would be life altering and destroy the current east life we live.

Simple question regarding bringing a child into this life. Knowing they will have a worse life than us and forcing them to exist what be a form of torture.

Hopefully decisions will be made by fate and I won’t need to torture myself until something snubs me out. Could I make a difference it will I be forgettable like everyone else

I’d use jerboa but it just crashes all the time. Hangs, deletes comments and just isn’t up to scratch yet. So far tildes and kbin have been best die me. I jump around on all the Lemmy’s but can’t get my head around how to follow some subs.
