Did you manage to figure it out?
Did you manage to figure it out?
On Lemmy.world? Or Lemmy.ml?
… I’m really confused about these different sites/instances/defederation.
There’s nowhere near the amount of activity on Lemmy as there is (er, was?) on Reddit. But of course Lemmy is still in its infancy (comparative to Reddit, which has a collaborative seventeen year history behind all the threads/subs).
It’s a very good sign to see that perhaps we collectively just need to be patient, give it some time, and Lemmy could thrive.
I’ve joined here because I think Reddit’s quality is going to tank after June 30, but I downloaded Jerboa and it doesn’t seem to accept my credentials, regardless of instance. I’m confused.
Something something multiple instances (if you register with Beehaw, you can’t access threads to Lemmy/lemmy.ml)…
The “funny” (mocking) content will get stale.
I’m trying to use the app to browse when I’m not at a computer. I’ve seen mentions of “Jerboa” but it won’t accept my login credentials. I’ve tried all three instances, no dice. Any suggestions? I use Android phone the most, but open to apps for iOS.
That’s awesome. :P
Twitter is still thriving? O_o
Do you know if old.reddit is going to be vanquished as well?
When I talked to my Discord group, they asked for a source. Ironically, I can’t access the threads with all the logistical explanations of why old.reddit would be eliminated (because… they’ve gone private), and while yes, an official source/confirmation would actually give them cause to be angry (I totally get it - no one wants to think they can’t use old.reddit any longer), it’s frustrating to see they’re not accepting it.
Wait - how come in Firefox, and not Chrome? (I say this as someone who primarily works using Chrome, as my workplace operates in the ice age and half the time Firefox acts stupid)
Please don’t attack me personally like this
