iPhones are fine but I think accessibility would be better and more customizable on an android phone and if you can’t find accessibility options you need, you can definitely find it in the App Store or just sideload it. Get him a big phone too

That extra 150 gets you a significantly better machine that will last longer. Definitely worth the pro when the only sacrifice is the 1” of screen.
Wow, Apple finally playing nice with other phones is something I thought we’d never see
Because android is playing catch up with the UI, they didn’t really start honing in until around 2016-17. Apple with iOS was and is UI focused.
An actual use for the “most powerful chip in a smartphone” outside of playing a few games. I want multitasking as the number one. switching back and forth between apps is not mulitasking.
Apple execs should be embarrassed for giving that pile of shit the green light. Especially considering it replaced other better stuff.
Rectangle if you want window snapping kind of like how windows does it.
Daisydisk for storage management
Also a music app of some kind to enjoy the fantastic speakers on the pro MacBooks
It’s crazy how Siri went from the best to not even worth using outside of asking for the time or to call someone. The answer for like 90% of what I ask is “here’s what I found on the web” I COULD HAVE DONE THAT MYSELF.
Refurbished m1 air is about it for the m series.
Literally any intel MacBook will be in your price range. even the 16 pro base model is about 6-700.
Check out backmarket
We need to have laws that make penalties a percentage of things and not a set amount. 25 million for Apple is like the change I keep in my car after buying a McDouble with cash
Because all my friends, family and in laws literally ALL use iPhones. I personally find them limiting and can be annoying at times, like with their drawn out and constant animations like plugging in the phone and CarPlay popping up EVERY time. The camera settings lie mostly in the settings app and NOT the actual camera app.
It’s mostly quality of life stuff that I loved on android phones.
There’s other stuff I love like the near seamless sharing between my Mac and phone and iPad. It’s a game changing feature that makes it hard to go back to android
