  • AMD have the right idea in trying to target the value to performance crowd. People that want every dollar to count. You get diminishing returns the higher you reach and that’s the biggest drawback to Nvidia. The abysmal value.

But I hate Nvidia from a moral perspective as well. Proprietary software, paying game developers to use that software, inflated claims that their hardware will play those games better because of that software, then convincing the average public they just have a superior product when all they’re really good at is what amounts to bribes.

Ryzen has been more effective than RX because Intel had zero ability to respond and still doesn’t. They went to make GPUs because they couldn’t break the wall for CPUs. Before AMD crawled out of the grave, Nvidia and Intel had a full blown market monopoly. Inescapable.

I’m not interested in that continuing, so I’ll stick out a 7% worse product for $200 less and hope that throwing money at AMD will get them to compete on the bleeding edge with Nvidia like they are with Intel.

To get to this level of thinking you need to actively disregard issues like abortion and healthcare. You need to trivialize the problems people are sincerely and passionately fighting over. Posts like these are looking you dead in the eye and saying “The things you care about don’t matter, this rich guy stealing your shit does”.

As someone who has been radicalized by the pure insanity of the Republican party, it’s the most condescending shit I’ve read in recent memory and only serves as propaganda for the right because they’re the only ones who benefit from everyone shifting focus while they control checks notes oh yeah, the entire governmental body.

  • It’s happened what, once? Twice? A meteor could hit the building both candidates debate at but it’s as unlikely.

Knowing what’s happening is a pretty important part of being a politian. Not knowing what’s being said during a conversation is a pretty good way to say something stupid.

Autocorrect for a gaming acronym I use frequently and the laziness to not go back and correct it every time. Though there’s something to be said about feeling it nessesary to use it as a point of attack even though it’s unrelated.

Also, looks like Biden is dropping out. Sucks to suck.
