Vielleicht nicht ein Invasion, aber ein misposting
Really enjoyable game for a neutral - well deserved Toulouse, who took their chances.
Sounds like a great idea, in particular is paired with a ban on referees with ties to Saudi Arabia or Qatar. And while we’re at it: mic them up!
Not enough banjos in Skåne.
So well deserved - he’s really done a lot of things right in this game.
Such a wonderfully dry hit!
Wonderful goal, looked sooo smooth!
Yes. The top six tax. Like Arsenal at Brentford last year, Southampton last year or Everton last year. All three clubs famously part of the top six. It’s always against the small clubs and never against bigger clubs.
I’m really not trying to be facetious, but I didn’t see the penalty on Eze. I don’t think Palace was cheated out of penalty.
Eh what penalty on Eze? If we’re talking jokes in the game, surely Tomi’s red card and the lack of a card for Ayew are the real scandal? Shame the ref ruined the game before Arsenal got a second.
I know, but it might be a short trend (pardon the pun). It’s also not a trend currently supported by my personal anecdotal evidence.
Eh technology will change again, before we see any major changes. I remember reading some fifteen years ago that due to texting on an oldschool mobile phone, our thumbs might evolve in a new way because we all of a sudden used thumbs in a new way. Some scientists predicted we’d started using thumbs for tasks we’d otherwise use our index fingers for.
I’d really like him to stay in Atalanta for another couple of seasons to get some consistency and experience.
No technical background: historian, former university teacher and researcher, now researching at a museum. Did teach digital humanities though and am uhm… tech friendly?
Heh I’m not a fan of his club either, but it’s good to see a footballer on hot ones. Also, hot ones manages to make (almost) everyone interesting!
He handled it so much better than I expected! And agreed, another great episode.
Don’t discount gaming: football manager, fifa, PES etc. all have a focus on tactics (in particular the former). Also, managers themselves are becoming superstars (Mou, Klopp, Pep, Simeone etc.) in a way they didn’t used to be, which also adds to the focus on tactics.
Definitely steps in the right direction, really not sure why it wasn’t implemented like that from the beginning. One of the few things they get right in the NFL.
I’m in! Until Christmas when, predictably, I’m far behind…
I feel much the same, but this was my first love on the album and the first time I heard rap/garage in this way, so it felt like the best choice.
