2 years agoMy main use for them is to streamline how I use OmniFocus. I have shortcuts for adding items directly to certain projects rather than having to send them to the inbox first. I use certain projects as recurring checklists, so one of my shortcuts collects them all into a list and lets me pick which one I want to open.
I also sometimes use them to get around limitations in Apple apps. The favorites feature in Maps didn’t work great for me, so I made shortcuts that will let me pick from an arbitrarily long list of favorites.
Edit: I forgot to mention that this is all on iOS. I have really used them on Mac OS
I think this is the right-to-work they were referring to: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-to-work_law. It’s a type of law that undercuts unions by preventing shops from requiring union membership for employment.
