I am using the early beta since yesterday, the UI looks clean so far. A few things turn into little hiccups, sometimes I can’t upvote posts or send comments, but that’s expected for a early beta. Thanks to the devs for making this possible! :)

that’s something for the introverts! a nice wholesome meme.
my theory excactly. I doubt reddit will die anytime soon, but maybe lemmy could be something different with niche but interesting things and posts. Right now i like lemmy for what it is and am exploring it a bit.
sleeping in watching stuff on netflix or yt cuddle with my dog eating pizza and other fastfood followed by more sleeping
maybe I am the only one then who watches a documentary and then immediately forgets everything that would be mentioned in said documentary
this feels so cool, to be apart of something new, in its early face. I love this feeling. Now I know how the people with Bitcoin felt in 2009 or so. Kinda discover something truly amazing that is not widely found by the masses of people.
It’s only a matter of time, for sure. I doubt that the mass comes over from reddit, because reddit has the bigger network effect (as of right now). However, this could change if Lemmy continues to grow and stays consistent over the years, unlike reddit. Keep these nfts away from here, lol. But certainly there will be many more people who will discover Lemmy in the future. This would be sooo nice!
That would be awesome and make for a good user experience.
yeah, they are kinda cute. i think they are a bit overlooked as far as animals go. So why not? Maybe there could be a Lemmy icon :)
That’s maybe right haha
lemming would be pretty ok for me too. I am to uncreative to come up with another name lol. maybe lemmys?
i hope this comes true and stays as is for a while. I wasn’t around in the early days of reddit, so here I am, watching and learning to see another great community platform grow.
