Wonder how the offense will look with Kyler. He hardly was under center before, and Cards run under center more than Kingsbury. What do cards fans think?

I heard a freakonomics podcast about the 49ers rebuild, and one thing I always remember from it is this. There is no penalty for being bad in the NFL. In something like the premier league, relegation exists. In the NFL, the penalty for being the worst team is the ability to draft the best player available coming out of college (except for the Panthers lol). That mixed with revenue sharing, in a league that posts growth year over year, buying an NFL franchise is just an asset that continues to appreciate no matter how bad you are. I don’t know what it is that motivates some owners to want to win, but when it comes to the numbers all 32 are constant winners. I hope Tepper actually wants to win, because every fanbase deserves that.
The 49ers are really an interesting experiment right now. Usually teams that give up so much to trade up and draft a QB don’t pan out so well, panthers and redskins come to mind. So Brock did save them from falling into the abyss like them, yes. I would argue, and yeah it hasn’t been proven yet so it’s just my take, that he really is just gonna keep them where they were before the whole lance saga. A contender who definitely could win it all given the right circumstances, but their window definitely has an end in sight. Once his rookie deal is up, I don’t know how they could keep such a roster together the way it is now, with the mix of aging stars. I’ll be interested to see what they do going forward to revamp the team, but I feel like the window is the next 2 years to get number 6
If I’m not mistaken, they are also pretty stout against the run. May all be on Purdy this game
Yeah but just think about how triggered all the fantasy bros are at this. Isn’t that really the point? /s
Guy tried his best to present some new ideas and way of looking at teams staying on the field, and r/NFL just gonna shit all over it. Color me surprised
