Yes, the protection of the software and the images it creates are separate, but that’s missing the point. What protections the software does or doesn’t have are irrelevant to the question of whether or not the images are covered. By developing the software, he determines how it functions, which influences the final product that it outputs. That would still be the case even if the software weren’t covered by IP of any kind at all.
Driving
I will never understand how anyone can actually enjoy being in complete and total control of a multi-ton hunk of steel with more than enough momentum to kill people, with the lives of yourself, your passengers, and everyone around you in your hands at all times, having to follow a long list of rules while paying perfect attention to absolutely everything in your entire surroundings at all times in order to avoid killing anyone, all while surrounded by dozens of people in the exact same position, all of whom are just as human and fallible and unpredictable as you are. That is terrifying. If you actually take the time to think about the position you’re in and fully consider the responsibility that’s on your shoulders as a driver, it’s way too much pressure for any human to handle. How the fuck is this a normal thing that everyone just does? How on earth does anyone manage to drive at all without having a mental breakdown, let alone every single day?
