user population made of geeks and nerds. also, usenet and bbs raise nostalgia.
used Connect but switched to mobile browser for the time being as Lemmy behave way less buggy. will try Sync when it comes to beta though.
can confirm, freezing is still an issue on latest 0.2.3+16 release.
