They survived by digging a canal system to bring water from rivers far away. Those same canals are what feeds Phoenix it’s water a milenia later. We just added cement to them.

Yup. Evaporative cooling was popular in AZ before electricity was available. In the late 1800s to early 1900s there were many homes and building with cooling towers on them. People would hang wet sheets across them and the cooling effect would create a current as it fell down the tower which would on turn create more draft across the cooling cloth.
Horse shit.
It was never abandoned. The valley was steadily habitated for thousands of years by a number of tribes before American settlers forces the Yaqui from the land.
None of them had air conditioning, and they thrived until a foreign invader took their land by force.
Boing is starting to have a bigger mysterious trail of bodies around them than Hilary Clinton.
My wife would be super freaked out and disgusted if I was reading a Bible.
She’d sit down and flip though the naked ladies one though.
The main issue with Vista was an absolute garbage HAL and driver stack.
It was incapable of working with hardwarw that XP did out of the box. Even if you managed to find a working driver it would likely crash once a day.

You do know you can listen to a whole album on Spotify, right?
the vast majority of venues have exclusive ticketing contracts to only use Ticketmaster.
It doesn’t even end there. Live Nation has been buying up major venues all over the country.
Valid point. But at least he was an asshole who thought for himself instead of attempting to force the will of his imaginary sky daddy.
It’s wasn’t 43 in a row.
Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson.
Jefferson was openly not. The other two were “no affiliation”.
John has a point and all, but let’s not forget these fine gentlemen, and try not to group them in with the fairy tale believers.
Look into the LTSC version on Win10.
It doesn’t contain UWP apps and stays on a stable version for years like Server OSs.
It’s like $130 for an upgrade license for it, or you can just run it without a license and the only downside is the watermark (that you can easily remove).
You don’t need Windows Server for that. Windows 10/11 would serve that need.
Why are people installing Server 2022 with a GUI even?
This seems like a case of “people using Windows Server as a desktop get desktop features in an update”. Yawn.
That’s what meant. A civil war is only called a civil war if the rebelling side loses. Otherwise it’s a revolution.
Technically true. The War of Independence WAS a civil war. It was a British civil war.
Goes to show that the victors write the history book.
It was a rhetorical question because you were suggesting a choice should be offered.
What other client choices are out there that let you directly access SharePoint files or Microsoft Planner directly in a team chat?
The big irony is that it lasted so long.
