I imagine we would be stuck with small phones and designs that would seem like innovation but really aren’t. Also iOS would be nowhere near as flexible as it is now. Steve was all about marketing.

It’s not better, but different, and Apple products work really well together. Most people like Apple for the software experience, but the hardware is definitely not world leading!

I’ve never thought Apple TV+ was worth the money - both for the quantity and the enjoyment of its content. While it can arguably claim to have high quality content, it doesn’t appeal to a wide audience. For me most of it is boring and tedious to sit through, and not enjoyable at all. Yet on Netflix I can watch a wealth of content from many different countries that may not be the best quality wise, but stands out in variety and entertainment value, and caters for all demographics.
