    You don’t have a choice if you’re arguing for precedent and overturning the status quo.

    When else are they going to do it anyways? In twenty years?

      You have to pick your battles. The chances that the current justices will overturn the status quo in favor of trans people is basically non-existant.

      So yes, you should wait until the court is made up of people who have a chance of ruling in your favor to avoid a ruling that denying gender affirming care is constitutional.
