I’d be surprised if this trend doesn’t continue for the foreseeable future. I personally have opted for not having children for a variety of reasons. I know many others my age (gen-x -elder millennials) that are the same way I’d imagine the younger generations are trending that way as well.
With climate change and the rise of fascism I don’t want to bring another human into this world. Never really wanted kids anyway but those 2 factors solidified my decision.
Same, on top of some pretty nasty heredity shit that runs in my family it’s just a hard pass for me. Plus the actual cost of raising a child is absurd.
