Idk that I’d call The Boys as a comic anti-authority since they’re federal agents cracking down on “sex perverts” which sometimes just means supes that have gay sex in the comics. And sure, there’s some (a lot of) blood orgies in there, but it’s mostly alt-right adjacent puritanism as a shorthand for moral superiority.

Plus it’s just a lot of 90’s edginess in general that should mostly be referred to as the rare instance of an adaptation being so much better than the source.
