I realize it was a lot to read, but if you keep going it gets much better:

Any time you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that party can’t keep the promise that it made to you during election-time, and you’re dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that party, you’re not only a chump but you’re a traitor to your race.

These Northern Democrats are in cahoots with the southern Democrats. They’re playing a giant con game, a political con game. You know how it goes. One of them comes to you and make believe he’s for you. And he’s in cahoots with the other one that’s not for you. Why? Because neither one of them is for you. But they got to make you go with one of them or the other.

This is why I say it’s the ballot or the bullet. It’s liberty or it’s death. It’s freedom for everybody or freedom for nobody.

The ballot or the bullet. Liberty or death. Love it.

I choose the ballot over the bullet, liberty over death.

We got a foreign agent running for pres. Times are quite a bit different than before. Far leftists run for government everywhere. They dont abstain. The Spanish anarchists literally have it as their second tenet to make life under the current regime, while it lasts, more tenable.

Youve offered no concrete ways forward, however, so Ill say for the millionth time the same: pursue direct action in any means by which u are able, establish systems of mutual aid (preferably very local), vote bc its the least u can do and your wellbeing does depend on it, and make friends and spread these ideas anywhere and everywhere. The future is ours, but we shouldnt sit here arguing against ppl encouraging any single one of those avenues. Theyre all necessary. Everyone does a little, some do a lot. “From each according to his ability,” and what not.

What’s fun about Malcom is that it’s as much a personal directive to his listeners as it is an ultimatum to policy makers and centrists: “either you give us the liberty we demand, or we’ll take the only action you’ve left us”.

He certainly did encourage his listeners to vote, but not for ‘the lesser evil’. He wanted them to wield their vote to force change. He was a revolutionary who believed that liberty would never be given unless forced, and if the peaceful option was not provided to them, then it justified any and all actions against an oppressor.

IT’S FREEDOM FOR EVERYBODY OR IT’S FREEDOM FOR NOBODY.

That certainly doesn’t sound like voting for the lesser evil, if you ask me.

Again, theres a russian agent running. U get no change voting for anything other than the continuation of democracy in the country. You either get democracy, or u get the boot up ur ass. I choose the semblance of democracy we own. Why disparage others from this end?

What a lazy way of dismissing something that you disagree with or otherwise don’t understand.

This is like accusing a union that’s conducting a strike of intending for the company to go bankrupt.

You’re simply more afraid of loosing to Trump than you are indignant that your chosen politician is actively aiding a genocide. All Biden has to do to put both our concerns at ease is to cut off support to Israel’s genocide.

You don’t have to withhold your vote, but you also don’t have to actively stand in the way of those of use pushing for change, either.

            Have a fucking backbone.

                Who’s the troll in here?

You asked for a concrete way forward, and I’ve provided you one. Any civil rights leader in US history will tell you the same thing: no amount of liberty has ever been permitted without first being demanded, no freedom won without the risking life and limb. Find me a single instance of a civil rights leader saying we should settle for the lesser of evils and i’ll fuck off.

It would be one thing if you were simply not pushing for a cessation of Israeli military support, it’s another to fucking chastise those of us loudly making that demand. From where I stand, it’s you who is the troll.

“Nobody is free until everybody’s free” - Fannie Lou Hamer

“Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you’re a man, you take it.” - Malcom X

“No, no, we are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream” - MLK

“You deplore the demonstrations taking place in Birmingham. But your statement, I am sorry to say, fails to express a similar concern for the conditions that brought about the demonstrations” - MLK

“This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.” - Frederick Douglass

If you think me to be an extremist or a troll for siding with the civil rights leaders of history, then I’ll at least be content with the company.

Lol, u quote all these things and no concrete path forward is suggested in all of that. Just a bunch of patriotic individuals saying the same patriotic things we all here have known them to say, but its not even any of how they went about trying to furthertheir cause. Youve not said a relevant word here. Maybe learn some more about those figures u reference.

As stated, im here trying to spur leftists towards every course of action available to them, and u get mad bc i dont deny voting as important. Your ulterior motives are clear, im not wasting any more of my time on u today. I hope ive wasted time of urs youd spend being a negative little nancy on lemmy trying to spread doom and gloom instead of hope, solidarity, and action. But im sure solidarity is a dirty word in putins russia.

Lol, well inform me then, how did they go about it? Because the history I was taught was that they demanded it from those with power, not by quietly accepting the options provided for them but holding hostage what those people hold dear.

You listed all the important leftists praxis except the most important one: effective direct action. Protest. Strikes. Civil disobedience.

Yes common troll tactics, deny everything, demand proof of even the most basic of facts. The man simped for putin every chance he got, we were warned by the Dutch (u know, actual allies) that cozy bear was hacking to aid and abet him, youve got the trump tower calls in 16. Its too exhausting to list it all, but thats what u count on, no? If anyone relied on plausable deniability half as much as numb nuts they would long be in jail for conspiracy against the US.

youve got the trump tower calls in 16

The Mueller investigation culminated with the Mueller report, which concluded that the Trump campaign welcomed Russian interference and expected to benefit from it. Though there was insufficient evidence of a criminal conspiracy, members of the campaign were indicted, including national security advisor Michael Flynn and the chair of the Trump presidential campaign, Paul Manafort.

Marx grasped this essence of capitalist democracy splendidly when, in analyzing the experience of the Commune, he said that the oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class shall represent and repress them in parliament!

here’s a quote from a russian agent for you.
