McConnell was very adamant, however, that it’s not his job to decide whether Trump is granted immunity against crimes committed while in office.

As the Supreme Court weighs whether Donald Trump is shielded from prosecution for acts committed while president, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he opposes Trump’s view of absolute immunity.

He knows he’s a dead man if the president has immunity. EVERY Russian asset would be toast, tRump included.
