    Why the fuck did it take 3 years forthis to happen? That just a ridiculously slow process after someone aided a coup attempt in broad daylight and lied on national TV about an election being stolen.

      getting disbarred in New York State is practically impossible without being convicted of a crime, typically one which involves malfeasance with regards to the handling of a client. He’s had his license indefinitely suspended for over a year, which is typically how these things end, but Giuliani isn’t you typical dirty lawyer.

      considering this, his disbarment (should it occur) is nothing short of a minor miracle and a strong statement by the New York State Bar of exactly how corrupt and unfit to serve as an attorney in the state they find him to be.

      This article discusses his disbarment in DC, which has different but similar standards, and NYS is also working on getting him disbarred.

      since the time he had his license suspended in both DC and NY, he hasn’t been able to practice law. even if he isn’t disbarred in one or both jurisdictions (unlikely at this point), he almost certainly will never be allowed to practice law again, as when it’s suspended in one jurisdiction, it’s effectively suspended everywhere.

        I was surprised, as I’d thought he was already disbarred. But you’re right. This paragraph helped me understand before seeing your comment:

        In 2021, a state court in New York suspended his right to practice law in that state, citing his actions in the wake of the 2020 presidential election. No final disbarment order against Giuliani has been entered in New York, but bar discipline proceedings in that state are notoriously opaque.

          yeah, it’s his NYS suspension and disbarment proceedings which likely triggered it in DC… although his actions were bad enough to have warranted disbarment proceedings there anyway.

    Good. This ghoul needs to never be allowed near a courtroom unless he is the defendant in some criminal trial for all the bullshit and chaos he has willingly put into this world.

        I certainly believe that Hillary carries around Bill’s junk in a tasteful Donna Karen clutch wherever she goes for the last 30 years, but… OH!, you’re talking about Hunter Biden….
