Axios reports: Former President Trump at a Tuesday night rally in Wisconsin said he wants Election Day this year to be called “Christian visibility day.” It comes as Republicans criticize the Biden White House for recognizing Transgender Day of Visibility — which happened to fall on Easter Sunday this year. “Such total disrespect to Christians, …

Aren’t they visible enough already? They can’t shut the fuck up, they wear Jesus shirts and Jesus caps and have Jesus bumper stickers.

And these MAGA idiots eat up the idea that Christians, who make up the vast majority of the country’s population and government, are being disrespected and silences.

Their whole relationship with their deity is the same as an abusive relationship or a cult leader, ‘I love you but if you don’t love me back you’ll be punished forever, but it’s somehow ok and not coercion because I know what’s best for you and you’ll be perfectly happy and content in your life and or afterlife, both of which will be spent serving and praising me’

The rest of their approach to humanity trickles down ironically

They’re so drunk on their own hate they can’t see what their beloved scripture tells them explicitly to look out for.

I don’t think they read their scriptures. The only parts they know are fed to them via the TV or maybe their pastor if they attend church. Which is highly unlikely.

Part of me wants to get my hands on his bible that he’s hawking; compare it to an actual bible and see what bits got removed or added.

At a minimum, I’m guessing then whole money changer in the temple thing, Revelations…. Most all of the parables.

Being transgender should at least be a trigger to start thinking if it actually makes sense to be Christian (or belonging to any other religion, really).

So that means it a holiday for them and they can just stay home and relax. Since god has a plan, and if its his plan for trump to be president there is nothing they need to do. Just stay home on election day. Matter of fact lets make every election day christian visibility day so they stay home every time.

sigh pulling my christian card again … So, as a Christian raised Catholic, my view is the following: Is being LGBTQ+ compatible with my beliefs? – Not quite. But one is allowed to have different beliefs and that right can never be taken away in a normal democratic state. Does other people having rights affect me, is it bad for me? – Hell no. So let it be. Let freedom of religion exist. No-one is hurt by others having rights. No-one.
