4·2 days agoI am going to break open a USB-powered laptop cooling pad and find out if the fans are 5V or 12V. Then I’m going to work in designing my own cooling pad, because the garbage plastic in the mass produced pads keeps cracking and rubbing against the fan blades.

You’re also eligible if you earned a high school equivalency certificate in 2023 or after.
In the US it’s illegal (for now) to prevent employees from discussing their pay.
If you have a skill, put that shit on your résumé. You never know if your going to get interviewed by some frood, and shooting shit about Linux might be a good foot in the door.
My very first job was collecting roadkill and cutting grass around guardrails. A few years later I worked at Walmart, and I was treated better picking up dead animals. Every place is different, it takes time to find your sweet spot.

71·2 days agoIt “looks” like the police are protecting delivery trucks, and blocking strikers from the drive. They’re preventing the strikers from walking across the drive and hindering deliveries.
