I’m considering switching from Windows 10 to something either using KDE or the new Cosmic DE that System76 is working on. Right now I’ve got a 3060TI.

      @DieserTypMatthias@lemmy.ml why wouldn’t I just rather change channels on Manjaro if I wanted it earlier. Changing distro’s really seems a bit extreme and going to cause other config issues. I still use X11 as my daily driver so quite happy to wait another two or three weeks until Manjaro has finished ironing it out.

      No, I don’t think I will, nor does it make any sense to suggest such a nuclear option. Like the person you replied to, I’ll wait until it shows up in Manjaro stable repos.

      I tried Plasma 6, after its release, on Wayland with my nvidia card and many things were still broken.
