And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
WTF?! 61 years old.
WTF?! And with Dennis “Machine Gun” Thompson, same day same way…woof…The American Heart Association says, “knock it off already! There may be someone on this mortal coil that will miss your pitiful ass.”
Rock 'N Rollers, take heed…these things come in threes, they say!
- Cheap Trick - The Albini Sessions
- The 1997 unreleased Cheap Trick album, produced by Steve Albini.

Sad, but what the hell is this post? It reads like some schizophrenic rambling, the bible quote only makes it more so.
Since you ask so kindly 🙄…
I’d read and posted earlier about Thompson’s passing and how he’d suffered a heart attack ca. a month ago. I linked to it in this post. Then later I’d read about Albini’s death from a heart attack too.
The Bible quote is merely for…effect. Death cutting down two artists with the same scythe, so to speak. Rock 'n Roll likes a little bombast.
In any case, hope you enjoyed the Cheap Trick link.
