Send him to some random drug test place like they do for a job interview. Those nurses won’t take shit from anyone. “Oh you accidentally flushed the toilet after peeing in the cup, guess you’re coming back tomorrow.”

Yes, it really is.
Yes it is. Many companies require a drug screening for illegal substances. It’s often unclear what they’re testing for or what would prevent you from getting hired and what is a violation of your rights. Most people need a job so they put with with it. But there are numerous companies that all they do is these drug screening.
They do seem to have backed off a bit on recent years, at least with companies I’ve worked for. It’s been quite a few years.
The last time, they tried to start drug testing for current employees. I didn’t bother going and they didn’t bother me about it
