Tried it a while back, thought it was really cool conceptually but it didn’t really scratch any itches for me so I put it down after a couple hours.
I did hear they’re adding an enemy that expands/progresses, that was something that seemed to be missing when I tried so I’m considering giving it another spin once that update drops and/or I stop fiending on Xenonauts 2.
Have you tried Dyson Sphere Program? It’s rough around the edges and made by a chinese indie dev team so translations aren’t the best, but I like it
