There are smart fascists. Aligned with class interests, correctly seeing problems on the horizon, and dealing with them in the fascist manner: It’s such a profoundly dangerous mistake to go “hawww they’re too dumb to be dangerous.” No. They’re not.
Not too dumb to be dangerous. I served under some of those freaks, and they’re plenty dangerous - but their ability to plan and coordinate is beyond weak. Their arrogance blinds them completely.
