My cat loves this. He closes his eyes and angles his head down when I get my face close, to let me rub the top of his head with my nose. Super adorable.
My cat pushes the bridge of her nose into the bridge of my nose, as long as I’m gentle I can push back a little and she starts purring.
My cat sticks her snout in my mouth if she wants face smooches.
Is it affection, or a dominance display?

My cat actually likes this, so long as I’m not clean shaven.
1 of my 2 cats is the same, she loves nuzzling in my beard when we’re watching TV. The other one subscribes to the philosophy from the meme. She loves to rub my face and lick my nose but if I reciprocate with a kiss or face rub of my own she’s like “Yo wtf man?”.
This is the cat version of “no take, only throw”.
My parents’ cat likes to be greeted by mutual face sniffing, she’s adorable. she also likes to be hugged and used as a pillow wherever she’s napping 😁
One of mine will let me do it, on her terms of course. The other bolts if you even think about it, despite being the more aggressive headbutter
