The problem isn’t “there’s no engineers” the problem is greedy oligarchs that don’t see a problem with you having 0 social mobility.
My wife is dealing with this as a nurse. They bring in tons of underpaid foreign nurses to “cover the shortages” but refuse to increase wages. There’s no fucking reason an RN with 7 patients should be making $30 fucking dollars an hour.
