The problem is their moral beliefs are not in sync with their thoughts and desires, which causes guilt etc.
Scientists have reached consensus that porn addiction is not a thing.
What needs to be treated instead of porn addiction is the moral beliefs of the individual which are not in agreement with their porn use, which can cause stress anxiety and real health issues.
But the issue is the persons moral beliefs, not the porn use.
I’d like to see what study you based your argument on, because I’ve done enough reading that what you’re saying doesn’t ring any bells. I’m an atheist and as mentioned previously worked in the porn industry for several years.
The only thing wrong with porn is the moral judgement some associate with it.
