every so often i play skyrim with no fast travel. makes you engage with the world more which i like personally
it’s way more fun this way i think, same with FNV. skyrim’s world especially is way smaller than it feels
That’s the plan
I’m also carrying a realistic amount of gear, only my current weapon and armor. The loot I grab is replacement weapons (dropping my current), jewellery, gems, coins, potions etc.
i tried Skyrim VR with the map and compass mod and got lost for two hours trying to find Redoran’s Retreat.
Then I couldn’t hit anything with a bow because VR and I’m bad at archery.
It was really fun.
