This is a perfect illustration of why solidarity requires not letting scabs past the picket line, by any means necessary.

They should just do their own press events that don’t involve the White House. Not like they would get anything other then lies and bullshit from this admin anyway.

This relationship has been bad for the media anyways. Reporters should not fear being removed for their articles and line of questioning, but they do. Is that a good thing for the end result of their product? The fascists lie in such a predicatble way anyways and more often than not the journalists end up reporting on the lie… just report on the facts and everyone is better off.

the press need to pay their own rents, and buy food, and clothes, and send little timmy and mary sue to summer camp, if they get locked out, they’ve got nothign to write about except for getting locked out, and then they lose their jobs. depending on white house reporters to stand up to the fascist is unreasonable, standing up to the the fascist white house for new orginizations is untennable for their bottom lines. cowards all, surely, but there’s a reason the rest will fall in line. their business is stories, without content they’re just complaining.

By that logic, it’s “unreasonable” for anybody to stand up for fascists, and that’s exactly how they win. Why are you supporting them by discouraging resistance?

it’s not unreasonable for anybody, that’s a facile and childish reading of what i wrote, it is unreasonable to expect the white house press corp to push into territory it knows will get they and their publications banned, after watching all the same exact mainstream media both sides trump and republicans for the last 8 years through his re-election, it takes a real fucking moron to imagine that now, is the time that they grow a backbone and journalistic ethics

What content? Just do a gonzo, pretend like you attended and write whatever you please about it.
