With the Democratic Party struggling to find a new direction, former President Joe Biden and former first lady Jill Biden have offered to jump in and help with fundraising and rebuilding.
I once counted the number of sessions that Democrats held the governorship and both chambers of the legislature in Wisconsin since 1973, and while it was not a huge number, it was non-zero. Yet, somehow Wisconsin’s abortion ban went back into effect when Dobbs overturned Roe in 2022. How could they not get that law repealed in a span of nearly 50 years, when women’s reproductive choice was a top Democratic priority?
Well when women’s rights were taken away with abortion being banned, within the hour they send texts wanting money to help bring back Roe v. Wade.
And they got the money. And didn’t give women their right back. Weird how that works.
