Given how things worked out around the world in the past two years, I can’t think of any better validation for CPC governance than the pandemic response. China is pretty much the only major economy that’s largely unscathed by the pandemic today. Effective measures saved millions of lives and allowed life to return to normal within months. The sheer amount of mental suffering caused by living with the virus that people in western nations have to put up with can’t be overstated.
I can’t imagine that anybody living in China right now would have much appetite for the style of governance we see in the west where people are sacrificed en masse to feed the engines of capitalism. If there was any national doubt regarding the validity of their system, the pandemic thoroughly dispelled them.
