I’ve been doing the 52 weeks of baking challenge all year and decided to do buckeye cupcakes for the cupcake challenge. Matches up perfectly with the huge OSU/ND game tomorrow, so go Bucks!

Honestly making the buckeyes is always the worst part because you have to hand dip each one. I make buckeyes all the damn time and have found that a cookie scoop is the perfecti size for buckeyes and have a container dedicated to melted chocolate every fall. The cupcakes dont take long and i just used this recipe for them. The buttermilk made the cupcakes so incredibly moist and i am really happy with how they turned out.
