United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain took a swipe at former President Trump, saying he serves a ā€œbillionaire class,ā€ a day ahead of Trumpā€™s visit to Detroit where he will speak to union workers.

When asked on CNN about the former presidentā€™s trip to Detroit, Fain said, ā€œI see no point in meeting with him because I donā€™t think the man has any bit of care about what our workers stand for, what the working class stands for.ā€

ā€œHe serves a billionaire class and thatā€™s whatā€™s wrong this country,ā€ Fain continued.

Trump is expected to travel to Detroit on Wednesday, where he will meet with current and former union workers amid their ongoing strike against the ā€œBig Threeā€ automakers ā€” Ford, General Motors and Stellantis.

Fain said it is ā€œpathetic ironyā€ Trump will reportedly hold a rally at a non-union plant in Macomb County, Mich.

this is true and it relates to this topic because multiple studies have shown that unions donā€™t survive if brown people make up too big of a percentage of the workers; so if youā€™re going to talk to a union and you see more white faces than any other, you now know to whom youā€™re talking to and can start to understand why trump will always have an audience with union members despite trump himself being anti-union.
