System Shock! Felt like it’s been coming out forever and then suddenly just dropped. Amazing so far

Been thinking about picking up System Shock! Never played the originals but I can’t say no to a good immersive sim.
There’s a demo on steam! Idk how long it is but worth checking out
Is it good to play casually? Very interested, but I hear there is a ton of back-tracking and it is faithful to the original a little too much?
I really enjoy it, but I love these types of games. There is backtracking when you’re obtaining items and unlocking doors and stuff, very similar to Prey. There’s a demo on steam to check out! Faithful to the original but in the right ways imo
