that’s like picking a favorite child
The diversity of music is so beautiful! Why would I choose just one when I can have so many
yeah i think you win!
it makes me hate the “what kind of music do you listen to?” question. neither of us wants to be doing that for the next forty minutes, pal.
Me, it’s metal
Metal/metalcore
What’s been catching your ear lately? I am often in the metal, numetal, metalcore, death metal subgenres, but I’m always interested in exploring!
Right now i’m relistening to the Black Album of Metallica, i’m listening a lot of hyperpop and hypertrap. If I can suggest some tracks, listen “Billy Knows Jamie” by 100 Gecs, “she knows it” by Maggie Lindemann and “spy?” by WHOKILLEDXIX
Thanks for the recommendations! I finally got to them after a whole bunch of listening to nothing but the new Avenged Sevenfold album. I really liked She Knows It, had an early Avril Lavigne vibe to it which I really liked. The other two weren’t for me, but I appreciate the recommendations all the same!
Power metal for me. 🤘
Pop! I enjoy all kinds of music, but pop is so fun to listen to, even if it is shallow a lot of the time.
I especially love it when pop is combined with other genres, like pop rock
Yeah pop is fun!
dub techno for me. Love all kinds of electronic music 🎶
I really like trance, synthwave, synthpop, and I love rock and its subgenres too. I can’t choose only one genre lol.
Yeah it’s a hard question, yesterday I said metal but now I would say pop-rock, and tomorrow maybe trap or hyperpop, it change everyday!
Hard to beat rock & roll
I listen mostly to electronic music. IDM, drum and bass, ambient. Basically if it’s electro I’m already at least 90% of the way there 😊
I listen a lot of house when i’m studying !
House while studying? Deep house maybe? I couldn’t picture like club house while trying to concentrate but I’m scatterbrained af so there’s that.
E: fixed spelling
Yeah, house is great, the GTA San Andreas SF-UR radio introduced me to house when I was a kid, great memories 😁
Post Hardcore
I think pop and alternative are what I listen to most.
It used to be pretty solidly Power Metal, but these days it’s a little of everything. Lately I’ve been pretty into Jungle/DnB stuff.
Prog & Power Metal
Late 70s, early 80s punk.
Dead Kennedys, Misfits, The Descendents, The Dickies, Bad Brains
Progmetal or posthardcore mainly but generally any rock or metal type music.
Progmetal for me as well, going to see animals as leaders in November!
Also started getting into jazz/jazz fusion. Tigran hamasyan, avashai Cohen trio, return to forever are all amazing
