Right now, I’m playing the early access version of Baldurs Gate 3. I’m getting ready to put it down (frustrated: BG3 has the potential to be good, but without controller support, I’m getting really frustrated with the UI. ) and switch to Yakuza Like a Dragon.

What are you playing now and what are you looking forward to playing next?

I’ve just beaten Control, it’s pretty weird, but still a fun game. Worked on the deck without any issues and configuration. Next I’ll play Horizon Zero Dawn.

That one part, with the music, with the Walkman (you know what I’m talking about) is one of the top emotional moments in gaming history for me!

Have you played the “predecessor” game that sort of exists in the same universe, “Alan Wake”? Also runs perfectly on the Deck and I quite enjoyed it. It’s weird as hell.

Well, of course I had to go listen again since you linked it.

          STILL GOOD.

I’ve heard about it before, but had no idea that these two games are from the same universe! I’ll add it to my backlog.

I won’t drop any spoilers because it’s a wild ride, but there is one obvious overlap (not in a main plotline or anything) that’ll make you chuckle.

I love the world Control built. The architecture, the feeling of it being some weird mix of Stephen King and Twin Peaks, how it didn’t hold my hand in figuring anything out.

      What an atmosphere!
