Newly 40-year-old man Gregory Chaudhari is experiencing a new type of mid-life crisis like many others his age--the inability to afford one.

Homie, I couldn’t even afford the life milestones building up to the midlife crisis, let alone the midlife crisis itself. Lmao

    20 years ago: I’ll buy a Ferrari!

Today: I guess I could add an ice cream to the groceries if I forego breakfast cereal for a week

Isn’t this community meant to post satire? This article seems 100% accurate to me.

Anyone else concerned about the implication of having a midlife crisis at 30?

If we manage to live past 60 we’ll starve and freeze because we’ll be well out of money at that point. 30 is the actually a little late for midlife.

Yes I’m concerned the millennial in question is having their breakdown well after midlife.

Maybe you can’t. I have a decent job and bought myself a 300€ inflatable kayak. And a life vest too!
