I’m on a massive King Gizzard kick right now, with Polygondwanaland in particular dominating my listening time. Murder of the Universe and Nonagon Infinity are getting some heavy replay time as well, but holy shit is Polygondwanaland a great album.

In trying to convince my wife of Tom Waits’ greatness (despite his voice), I came across 10,000 Maniacs version of “I Hope That I Don’t Fall in Love with You”. I already loved the Waits versions, but this cover just floored me. I’ve been playing it on repeat in the car and seeking out any other covers I can find. It’s just a super beautiful song.
