Of course they don’t, they are a terrorist organisation but funnily enough Israel has been more dangerous to the people of Gaza than the terrorists so far and this conflict is way older than Hamas.
Those hostages may just be safer with Hamas right now, Israeli forces may mistake them for surrendering Palestinians again and shoot them. Though than again they have a good change to dying to Israeli bombs as well.
They are going to run out of Palestinians before they run out of Hamas at this rate though that may be by design.
